  1. Model of Stuart Smith Jnr’s 2017 Shale Car. Built by Tom Poynton Models. The model is constructed from Plastic Strip, Plastic Rod and various widths of plastic card. It has a highly detailed chassis with 45 degrees mounted legs and roll cage construction exactly like the real thing with all of the roll cage curves and folds in the panels as to the real car. Removable bonnet lets you see the model V8 engine, radiator with connecting pipes, engine mount, air filter, MSD box. Exhaust on the inside goes over the chassis leg. Also included on the model is the air Scoop with grill detail, screen mesh, full set of shockers and mounts, link bars, pan hard bars, steering arms, drive shaft and shale guards. In the cab are a full set of pedals, full Nascar style containment seat, steering wheel and column, dash board with dials, fluid reservoirs, steering box, fuel lines, gear stick and handbrake. The whole model is painted in Enamel gloss that helps gives it a real life look. The handmade wheels have a shale tyre tread on them. The outside rear is the widest then the front right and then two rally tyres on the inside are the slimmest, exactly as the real tyres they use. They are painted brown as if to look like they have been driven through mud/ shale and American Racer painted on the outside tyres. The signs are all drawn by myself on Adobe Photoshop and are then printed onto water decal paper and then applied to the model. This means the signs, no matter how small are, as accurate and sharp as possible. The size of the model is 1:24 scale. Measuring roughly 20cm long, 10cm wide and 17cm high. Overall the model has takes me 100+ hours from very start to finish. Price of the model is £200 and that includes postage too. Please PM me if you’re interested. NO INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE UK ONLY PLEASE
