"mid race watering ....
I`m of the opinion that if it means the difference between a bit of frustration and the loss of another track, I`m happy for it to happen, however often & at whatever stage. It`s not our call to make.[/i]
Exactly this ⬆️

Brilliant Ian
Nice to see Joshua Smith on the list. Think it's his first outing this year (in an F1)
Yes first F1 meeting this year for Josh & Family due to pressure of work and that they are all thoroughly enjoying racing Rebels at the moment.

It's the original car restored to a very high standard by Garry Tressler ex F1 154Is it the original 501 or is it a copy ?
And I can't not mention the stunning Sean Willis 287 car. What a cracking looking machine. (Does anyone know who the previous owner/builder was? I've got it in my head it used to belong to Dylan WM, but I'm probably wrong!)
...
Possibly Richard Earl ?

Some 'new' names on the booking list. What do we know about them?
408 Ant Whorton-Eales races on the circuits and has won the Renault UK Clio Cup for the last four years. Ant has several family connections to BriSCA F1 as he is related to 408 Brian Whorton, 422 Nigel Whorton, 197 Mark Whorton-Eales, 97 Murray Harrison, and 197 Ryan Harrison. (I'm sure someone will correct me if that's wrong, or I've missed someone )
As far as F1's go you got em all....
536 Ben Barnicoat is from Chesterfield, so I'm guessing he's related to 224 Paul Barnicoat ?
Ben is Pauls son

I may have missed the point here but I always thought that drivers on the reserve list had to attend both meetings to stand a chance of being called to the grid, ie that if you fail to attend the 1st semi you can't appear at the second one expecting to take a place on the grid if someone else DNS

Does 300 still have a shale car though?
When he's raced on shale before it's been in the same car he races on tarmac. I think he's only ever had one or two cars in total. Not sure if it's been the same car with two different paint jobs, or two different cars, but they've always been tarmac cars.
I think you will find 300 Paul Carter has had only the one (Tarmac) car but does use it on shale for "special occasions " and as has been suggested it's had 2 or 3 paint jobs over the years

What happened to your car you sold to 290 did he sell it on?
He sold it to an F2 driver from the Kidderminster area, his name escapes me at the moment.

Grammar!
Mat told me last season it’s the best part of 5hrs each way in a lorry with little or no motorway - so I guess this is possibly why he is not booked in so far.
and as we all know in the past some meetings with apparently low car numbers have produced some cracking racing 🏁
