Wasnt Serge a character from Beverly hills cop a slight effeminate shop assistant so perhaps suites Sarge to the ground
I personally am enjoying the texts and banter from others watching Serge(Sarge) and window boy keep up the good work
Dont see many others jumping to the challange in these trying times
If you want to see how not to do this sort of thing then watch the F2 series dull has dish water
They could even get drivers to ring in during racing to give a little banter back to Statler and Waldorf
Heres hoping we get back to the tracks soon and hope everybody keeps well
Personally I think both formula are doing a fine job! (F1 and f2 !!!!!!!!) F1 a more humorous commentary and f2 is like being at the meeting , both are great but very different, also all the people moaning about it should realise the amount of time people are putting in to running things like this , for me personally it has been a couple of hours on a Saturday and sunday night when you can forget about the problems in the world at the moment, so let's get behind this till racing starts again and maybe even run a winter series (f1 and f2) in the off season , but if you dont like what you see, dont watch it simple!!! , for me it's a big thumbs up to kane Morgan sarge and paul Hines (f1) and jamie ward Charlie guinchard dave Goddard zoe simpson etc (f2)

One very visible change
When medics were on track ALL other vehicle movement was stopped, delaying all of the following, vehicle recovery and parade lap and grid reformation.
At King's Lynn the previous evening four 2L saloons were not allowed to restart a race after a red flag. All cars had obeyed the red flag and stopped but those four that moved before being told they could move were effectively black flagged.
Thanks for the info, anything that makes the sport safer is great in my book , might make the meetings slightly longer , but when safety is paramount what's a few minutes extra between race and over the duration of a meeting

I thought Skegness was a good meeting on Sunday and I didn't see a massive difference with the new regulations.
What new measures/ regulations had been put in place on sunday

Wasting money is not ok by me far from it,but you seem to have all the answers so am sure brisca bscda and the promoters around the country would welcome your ideas and input,so why not get on the relevant committees,

John b you need to be a promoter

whilst everyone is entitled to there opinion, I am am going to give you mine on your above post , 12.30 start time what's the problem?what time does Northampton start on sunday ?(12.00) , as regards the dust I really didnt see a problem, and running 2 formula people complain when Sheffield run 3, that it's to late a finish, finally nothing happened ?? I thought it was good fair hard racing, johnb what is your opinion of good racing?? Drivers respect sheffield, the fence and the type of racing we get thereMy only Sheffield visit this year and im afraid i think i was at a different meeting. Maybe its having to find somewhere new to stand. Maybe it was Saturday being so good, though it was good to fulfil the fixture. And why does it start so early. Not easy for travelling with late night the day before (i know it was rearranged but often also go to non f1 dates too) then up in morning when its almost still dark- its supposed to be fun, not feel like going to work. I know those on public transport found it very tight to get there in time. Last few years theres been track work between races but nothing was done at this, leading to a very slick dusty track meaning nobody could be caught or put a good hit in. Fast but apart from a couple of incidents nothing much happened and it seemed largely processional. Sheffield is often like that when it goes slick. Tarmac with dust!
Just 13 cars for a very poor heat one, what went wrong there?
Heats 2 and 3 were very watchable and had most of the days incidents. 555 up a post on the back straight and the huge incident at turn one with Liam Gilbank taking to the air. A close finish to heat 3 with 55 almost getting to 275.
I thought the final and Gn were poor. Fast and close but next to no contact, the odd nudge or leaning on someone. 445 seemed to make good progress but most seemed to follow each other round.
Not sure a 10 lap mini race really gives enough repair time. May work for full format but with 2/3 format needing cars to keep coming out, they seemed to struggle to get ready.

Can we say anything positive about this sundays meeting??? Negative negative negative moan moan moan , I dont know Luke personally but always comes across as a very polite young man, so if anybody thinks he races for tom why not ask him, am sure he will give you a honest answer

Rod Matthew why dont you apply to go on the brisca or bscda committee? Or speak to the drivers who are not booked in and ask them why they are not racing

How can sunday be turned into a shoot out round at 3 or 4 days notice, what do some fans think drivers do besides going racing? It's a hobby not a job and some drivers will be having a weekend and maybe doing family things,

Not saying things haven't changed, just saying I go wen I want to go, not on the strength on a booking list, great day for me sunday west brom to watch the mighty huddersfield then hednesford to watch the mighty f1,s , !!,perfect day out whatever the result of football and whatever the car count is at hednesford 👍👍

We didn't have a online booking list in the 70,s and 80,s we just went if we fancied going,a booking list never has a bearing on if I am going to attend at meeting or not
