Sounds like the pits are outside the stadium? Can you go in the pits during the meeting?
Pits are similar to the Ipswich system.
Get a ticket on the way out, give it back to get back in.

Seems like a lot of people are turning on each other on this thread which really doesnt achieve anything.
I think we can all agree that there is an issue with the age that defines a child, and it is definitely wrong that anyone under 16 should be charged adult prices.
I think that's the most sensible comment so far.
It's a new (ish!) track for most of us, let's try to be positive, and if you're going, try to enjoy it.
When was the last time the F1s were on with a major F2 championship? The 1987 F2 WF at Skegness was one, but there must be a more recent one?
Obviously they are always on together for the European Champs at NIR & last year's Shootout Finale at Belle Vue for the Silver roof was another.
But World or British Championship wise, I can't recall the 2 formulas being on together. (1987 is too far back for me! )
I think the F2s raced at the 2016 F1 British at Skeg?

137, 152, 372 & 502 have cancelled.
Down to 46 cars, but still one hell of a turnout.

No Ryan Harrison on booking list interesting 🤔
Did say he was racing in Venray this weekend.
But I have just heard that the F1s at Venray have been cancelled due to there being not enough cars, so he may book in now?
We'll see.

I've looked up the latest BSCDA newsletter

34 287
326 73
300 455
183 152

183 249
175 3
37 518
464 422

512 Michael Steward is also in the Consolation Semi Final.
Completely unofficial, but I make the reserves out to be (in WCQ points order, only including those on the booking list):

545 Neil Hooper
278 Paul Hopkins
321 Ed Neachell

I can see at least the first 5/6 of those taking their place at the back of the Consolation grid, to take the number of cars to 22/23.

Good to see 198 & 424 out for the first time this year - first time out for 380 for a number of months too.
Looks like 464 is giving the Shootout a good go this year.

Cheers for confirming that
Other numbers a bit alien to me are 385, 455 , 480
Pleased to see 545 Neil Hooper on that list as he was superb at Northampton
My weather forecast site is showing Saturday as dry right up to 9pm. Touching on 20 degrees at race start time, and 18 degrees at 9pm , so most agreeable !
Bring it on Mr Robert Speak ......................... both on and off the track
385 has been racing for 2-3 years, drives a car from the 285 Richard Earl stable, similar to 287 Sean Willis.
455 lives in France & drives a Newson hire car very, very well on Tar. He is 1st reserve for Saturday's Semi-Final.
480 is the son of 280 Colin Nairn and has raced a few times on shale & tar is the past couple of seasons.

Just out of interest Hary, are UK84 & UK464 able to race in the Wild Card race and if so, what happens if one of them wins?
I presume 33 & 36 are able to enter as they are Dutch registered.

UK464 is back up to Red now Hary.
Thanks for the results in advance.

Very surprised there is no 445.
175 from Yellow and 446 from Blue will take some stopping, I can see both Karl & Joe high up the Final Grid.
Devastated there is no 53 on that list...

Rob Plant has raced twice as 364 this year, Belle Vue & King's Lynn in March.
Alan Woodward raced a Newson hire car at Wheels last May - the BSCDA registered drivers list on the website was last updated in December 2016.

Hopefully see a few more book in by the end of the week. 84, 445, maybe #2?

Thanks for the updates, Carl, good work.
Incidentally, does anyone know of the relative 'readiness to race' for Lee Fairhurst, Sir John, Paul/Brad Harrison, John Dowson, Joe Booth, Will Yarrow, Mark Gilbank, Mal Brown etc? Just thinking of a few top drivers that we might have expected to be entered, that's all, especially given the absence of their normal attendance at Brandon...
Brad Harrison said on Twitter that he's on holiday, so he won't be at Lynn.
Don't know about the rest.
