Buxton has worked on PayPal receipts all season.
But I only had to give my name on Sunday and they marked it on the attendance record.

What a cracking track (stadium facilities rubbish !) and fast racing. Great to see all the star men together - Lundy as usual "all or nothing".

Whatever anybody else says I think it's a great show. I make it more authentic by sitting in my stock car deck chair having my soup and sandwiches. There's no picnic police in our house !

Where's our Nigel ? Has he really been banned ?
Good to see the two star commentators are on the job again.

The latest pics from Pascal Spigt's (H6) workshop are in the gallery. More to come soon.
I've found a few old photo's that i have acquired over the years. I'll put them in the gallery when i've sorted them out. Here's a good one to be going on with:

Seeing this program I wondered if you or anyone else has a program for the August bank holiday meeting in 1968 ? Not sure if it was Sunday 4th or Monday 5th. Either way it was the start of our honeymoon and first ever visit to a stock car race.
The "Summer Bank Holiday" (which is the proper name for it, apparently) in 1968 was Monday 2nd September. I don't have the programme for that meeting (and briscaf1stox.uk doesn't either), so can't help at the moment. But 'new' stuff comes to light every so often, so you never know...
Maybe it wasn't the bank holiday, but it was definitely Sunday 4th or Monday 5th August 1968.

The programs had the wrong date printed on them
Ringwood Program was printed with 26th APRIL instead of 26th MAY
Long Eaton program was printed with 1st January instead of 2nd January
Correct.
I know this is the wrong date because:-
26th April 1958 was a Saturday.
Whit Monday is 7 weeks after Easter Monday so cannot be in April.
The 1958 calendar says Whit Monday 1958 was 26th May.
Earlier Ringwood 1958 programmes don't list 26th April as a fixture, but do list 26th May.

What a cracking line-up in all 3 formulas - the must attend meeting of all times !

Another 6 cars would make it 53 and that's a magic number !

Might we see The king make an appearance
Now that would be a great send off for the Vue.

Where's 53 ?
I'll never forget that 53 v 515 going down the back straight many years ago and slamming into the post and wire fence coming into turn 3. Absolute mayhem, but absolutly great stock car racing.

Wheres the best place to park now? Not been to Sheffield for 30 years,Use to park on the side streets around what was a bread factory
Forget the car, buses 7 and 8 from the railway station every 30 mins on Sunday.

Not is only the temperature hotting up but so is the anticipation for Sundays BriSCA F1 Final World Qualifier and BriSCA F2 English Championship where the winner goes straight into the 2019 Shoot Out!
We have had one F1 cancellation, Willie Skoyles making 38 at the moment albeit we may have one last addition to be confirmed in the next 24 hours! F2 wise, 51 cars as of noon today!
10 hard days has gone into the track, all he bends have been dug out [ around 100 ton! ] new material also being added today and relaid and below are the pictures as of end of work last night! After two meetings where the track has been flooded the day prior with the strange weather, we have had a good spell to get back to where we want to be - and with a major Championship for F2 as well as F1 we have tried to prepare the best surface possible!
Sunday 30th June 3.30.pm - Gates open 2.pm
OK, so where's the pictures ?

Give me loons anytime. They look like stock cars and are a great support formula with F1s.

Belle Vue preview, not by Covstox.
This coming Sunday will see stock car racing taking place at Belle Vue, Manchester. This will involve stock cars which will be racing. Stock cars will be racing from 4pm and there will be a number of races including a grand final. As an extra bonus for those interested or arriving earlier, ministox will start racing at half past three. As this is a stock car shootout round we can expect a number of stock car drivers involved in this competition to take part. If you are a spectator interested in spectating, you are welcome to attend. Enjoy your racing.
Racing starts at 4pm
Is that 4pm for the minis or 4pm for the F1 ?

Wanted BRISCA stadium sew-on badges
in For Sale & Wanted

contact details
I'm the man that wears the white overalls with sew-on badges and red and blue stripes down the legs. I've been collecting since my race-control-car days at Crewe (who remembers the blue Morris Minor pick-up). I only wear these overalls at World Final, semi-finals and special events.
Unfortunately I've just realised I don't have Skegness or Kings-Lynn. Can anyone help me out with these badges; any condition will do ?
(I know they're not F1 venues, but I also need Aldershot, Taunton and St Day to complete my set of "been to" stadiums.)
I'll be at the Bradford and Skegness semi's and can be contacted on 07973 484497.
