  1. A free copy of the 2018 Making Stox History calendar, that is not on general sale, is available. The theme is F1 stock car publications and there is a picture on the website on the My Publications page.
If you are interested please go to my website at www.mossmodels.co.uk and scroll down to the contact form on the left hand side. Send your name and email address together with a brief comment about the website e.g. did you know about it? do you visit it often? is the content of interest? what is your overall view?
All those who respond by Thursday 9th November will be entered into a random draw and I will contact the winner to obtain an address to send the Calendar post free.
Thank you in anticipation of your interest and assistance. Your responses will help me to decide whether or not to continue with the website (now 10 years old) beyond the domain renewal date in February 2018. A Facebook page would be easier and cheaper to maintain but contain nothing like the amount of info on the website that can be accessed time after time. What do you think?

  2. For those who might be interested, I have put together a photobook dedicated to the sport's heritage. It seeks to provide a photographic reference to some of the ways in which the history of the stock car racing has been recorded and remembered for the future, and how an active market for collectors of memorabilia has developed.

There are sections that cover the written word, pictures, posters, badges, models, clothing and heritage cars amongst other items and all illustrated with over 250 photographs.

The book runs to 52 pages and can be previewed in full on the Blurb.com website. Just search using the title of the book or my name (Colin Moss) and there will also be details of how to obtain a copy. Alternatively click (or copy and paste) on the following link: http://www.blurb.co.uk/b/6725610-f1-stock-car-racing-memorabilia

  3. Home Page updated with a model of 55 Craig Finnikin's 2014 World Final winning car and a picture showing this car alongside that of father Bert's 1990 WF winning car - the 5th father and son to become World Champions.

This page also has an updated list of the Major Championship winners in 2014 that includes the Gold Cup Champion - 4 Dan Johnson and a picture of all six Champions utilising Ed Creations diecast cars with Stox Signs decals with appropriately painted aerofoils. These cars are currently for sale on ebay with the auction due to end on Monday 24th November.
