Very sad to read this.
I have a copy of The Story Of Stock Car Racing somewhere and it's very good. I must dig it out for another read.

Great stuff, thanks to Chris and everyone else involved in making this, and all the other BSCDA TV stuff. Brilliant. 👍

Great blog as always Nige, and the very best of luck to you and Jake for the coming season.

Only had time for a quick flick through it so far, but it looks superb.

Any chance of a post saying who won what?
It's in the video, but you need a bit of time to get through it. All I can remember is that the best moment of the year was the 3 girls finishing in the top ten in the final.

6. Finally, FWJ and Karl have donated a track day for 4 people (2 cars). I intend to eBay this off in order to raise as much as possible.

Thought it was known why Harringay suddenly removed F1's from fixtures in 1955 rather than lost in history
So why did it happen?
Also, what was the Brisca Club?

Why is there a minimum admission price?

So it's to your advantage to win a race that has lots of cars in it.

Brilliant stuff. He's a natural entertainer. Lots of great stuff but the high point for me is that Kev is a regular Stoxnet reader! 😀

The tubular nerfs on Speaky's Elite car didn't last very long. But that might have been due to the way he drove it. 😆
Although I think it also had the main nerf rails themselves as tubes?
I see Jake has gone for a hybrid approach, with the main nerf rail still the traditional box section but with tube for the inner legs. Be interesting to see how that works out.
