Unlucky for Steve as usual and shame that I won't see racing at my local track or Startrax this season.

To be fair 20 cars shouldn't be too bad. With a few big names also in attendance as the 17 car meeting at Hednesford last year was fairly entertaining.

We intend to end practice early to start the support formulas at 16.45, for a 17.00 start for the BriSCA F1s
Unusual for Buxton to run events pre meeting. Let's just hope the F2 meeting yesterday doesn't upstage the F1's on Saturday.

Just looking at their web sight, looks as if you can pay via credit cards too. This Sunday's meeting for F2, V8s, Super Bangers and Stoxcarts is accepting payment on the turnstile until they reach capacity. Some dude called Speak racing along with Jessica Smith. If I weren't going to Lynn on Saturday I reckon I'd pop up there myself.
and Bobby Griffin

Although a bit off topic, it's interesting to see some different support formulas as the 3 regular support formulas for F1's are elsewhere so hopefully they can pull it off.

Hate to say it but I think I prefer tar racing. Great entertainment all round. A big thanks to all involved.
Tarmac racing on rFactor tends to be that bit closer as the cars are easier to drive on tar but the total opposite happens in the F2's

If you mean on here, it's there race (car) number.
In the game, the first ( ) is their position in the race. The second ( ), I have no idea.
Second is the drivers ping which is the speed of their internet connection the lower the number the better their connection is.

If you press the end key you can have it one on trackside camera and move the mouse to control the camera it makes it easier to jump between battles which in oval racing is important.

I love the way the cars react when they hit the tyres ! No 84 at the end, seemed to be having some kind of Fit on the tyres.
The tryes tend to fire the cars into the air and roll them. Although a bit unrealistic it stops people corner cutting and when it comes to Bangers stops people lurking behind them.

I don't know who produced this (in the other thread) but this is what it should look like ....................................... in my opinion
Overall it was a great escape from dreadful Saturday tv .
One of the Commentators should maybe start drinking a little later .......................... perhaps ?I use a free camera for all the Leagues races and often do commentary this was made just to initially show 41 that he was hit by 147 on the roadside turn.

If they'd asked me as I know some of the UKDirt admins I would've done it as I've done it for a couple of leagues in the past for the regular meetings for the likes of F2's, Saloons, Ministox, Rebels, Hot Rods and Stock Rods.

Perhaps you could contact a proper commentator to be onboard also to add that bit of normality?
It's question of if they could get anyone to do it.

Loons at Sheffield with 'that' fence. That's going to interesting.
Saw them there a few years ago at non F1 meeting and they were very entertaining despite only having 14 cars.

I thought Skegness was a good meeting on Sunday and I didn't see a massive difference with the new regulations.

I recently read that this year there has been no oval meetings at all on Boxing Day.
Do Aghadowy & Nutts Corner in Northern Ireland count, as they both ran Boxing day this year?
