Yes he raced at the 2 day meeting at the end of April along with Luke Davidson.

 

For Luke it's the best way into the World Cup in August as only the top 8 from UK get seeded. Wouldn't surprise me if he's near the top of the Venray points chart so will start near the front.

Luke is now positioned at the 13th place for the Worlcup 2017 points as the missed the meetings on 25sept, 23sept 2016 and 17april 2017.
