CHEERS MATE

i agree with you on this issue of Dutch drivers. I Always enjoy it much more when they race against us in the Europeans. as it just adds to the fun. so like you Steve i am quite sad to see only two Dutch cars over for this years Championship. i just hope others turn up on the day myself. see you at Nir Steve
50 cars should make for a great weekend of racing, hopefully. Only two Dutch drivers coming over? I won't count Daniel Van Spijker as he is almost an honorary Brit. Time was when the field next to NIR was packed with Dutch fans, drivers, stock cars and had a real party feel to it. What has happened to make the Dutch drivers want to stay away? Is it the economy or has UK and Dutch mainland racing become polarised so far as racing on tar is concerned. All the work the Bev G put into getting BRiSCA and NACO onto the same hymn sheet seems to be a distant memory. I'll be there this weekend as I do every year, but to keep calling it a European Championship seems to be a little hollow with so few Europeans from Mainland Europe competing. I still hope that we will still see some of our Dutch friends over to view the racing if nothing else. We've now hit 50 cars.

A great write up Carl about this meeting and Frankie going for a hat trick of grand final wins. I just cannot wait to see if he can pull this off. as quite frankly i did not think this could ever be done at this Track. as King Lynn is so unforgiving to the drivers and cars. its so very easy to make a mistake at Lynn and find no way back. as you have to go into every bend and cannot cut any of them out like you can at say Coventry. so it can get very tight in the bends at times. so good luck Frankie i will be dead happy to see it if he does it.
As for there programme. that is worth 2/10 before i even see the race meeting.
