UKDirt are proud to announce that after a record breaking 2012/13 season supported by over 80 drivers, the 2013/14 Superstox winter series will again be free and open to anyone not currently on a all mod ban.

    How to enter

First things first, you will need the game rFactor 1 installed. This can be purchased HERE, or can normally be found at a seriously reduced price on ebay or other locations on the internet.

Secondly you will need to install version 1.2 of the Superstox mod which can be found HERE

Finally you will need to sign up to the UKDirt forum HERE, register your number and your ready to go.

    Fixtures

A full list of fixtures can be found on the UKDirt forum, but some highlights have been picked out below.

The season opens on Monday the 9th of December with the now traditional Ipswich/Northampton double header, two tracks that really let you stretch the legs on that Pinto.

The first major championship of the season, the Irish Open is to be held the following week at Nutts Corner Raceway. 238 Kane Morgan took a surprise victory last season from the Blue Grade, can he hold on to it starting in the champions or will we see a new name on the trophy.

The last week before the xmas break, will be a real car breaker. First we visit Wimbledon for the British championship, and then head up the coast to Yarmouth where I am sure some revenge will be enacted at the small Norfolk Oval.

The first meeting back will be at the newly created for rFactor oval of Eastbourne. Tyler Wilkin has been slaving away on the track for months, and it looks like it will be an absolute cracker which we can't wait to try.

For the second season running we take the European championship overseas, this time to Posterholt which posts a different challenge to the open spaces of Lelystad.

The World Final, will again be held at Ipswich. Drumbstick 41 took the title last year from pole position can he double up, will 2012 Superstox and 2012 & 13 World champion be in the hunt or could it be you?

Nutts Corner will see a new champion crowned the first week in February with the national Championship making its first appearance at UKDirt.

The final championship of the year will be the best in Britain, when we will wrap up the season on the 10th of February at Wimbledon.

Good luck to everyone and we hope to see you on track soon.

    Format

All meetings will take place using the format described in the rules HERE, namely 3 Heats each, with the top 30 drivers qualifying for the final.

We also hope to introduce some other races in to meetings, giving all drivers a chance for something to aim at.

    Prizes

The winner of the series will receive free UKDirt membership in 2012.

The highest placed driver, who is not a current UKDirt member will also receive free membership until the end of 2011.

    Cheap Membership

Any driver taking part in this series is not a current member of UKDirt will get membership for a reduced rate of £7.50.

    The future

3 reasons apart from those above to support this series other than those above.

1.) The cars are a great stepping stone to teaching new drivers, and helping improve existing drivers speed in the current F2 mod.

2.) Feedback on this mod will affect how the F2 mod is developed in the future, so this is your chance to improve both formulas.

3.) If this series is a success, then Superstox will become a regular fixture on the UKDirt schedule.

  4. I hope you do, I think you might even enjoy it think.gif

I was talking to Michael the other day about Dutch F2 and coming to have the ocasional play but i just don't think I can make that time slot doh.gif

Nigel any more probs give me a shout!!

  5. Oh and well done to Bob who qualified on pole for his semi-final tonight and scored a top 8 in the final thumbsup.gif

    Thanks!

Was a really nice meeting yesterday.

And nice to drive with the 'big names' of Rfactor f2 :)

You should do it more often Bob you would fit right in

  6. Cheers Arron, we did manage to get the game loaded, and the F2s, but the track wouldn't load for some reason, so we couldn't get any farther, and ideas?

Check you have it installed in the correct location

if you are on Windows XP it will be

    c:\program files\rfactor\gamedata\location

If you are on Win 7 or vista it will be

    c:\program files(x86)\rfactor\gamedata\location

If you are unsure you can always intall it to a folder on your desktop and copy in to that location manually.

  7. Nigel

Sorry, I have only just seen this I was a bit busy earlier blush.gif

We don't allow people to view the racing normally unless they are members and the server is not full, we should be doing a video of the racing tonight though. To keep you going I have posted the links to last years F1 and F2 world finals
