Does anyone know where I can buy a silver F1 stock car charm?
Wanted to get it from MSJ designs but apparently they are no longer in business.
theres a fella with a stall at belle vue and cov who sells silver and gold stockcars and there great details too, we had a 86 212 car done a while ago in gold from the shop a malcoms in huddersfield, maybe one a boss members could let you know if hes still doing them as he goes to boss do's or did.

dean the guys that done minniewinnies transmission are in luton which aint that far away really.
if andy paid 2k for a rebuild on the caddy then i can imagine it to be a fair bit less on a ford van. worth a phonecall atleast

Guys
Have a mate who runs a 1994 Ford Econoline 5.0. Gearbox is E40D. He used it to travel round Scandinavia for his honeymoon.
On the way up a very steep hill the tranmission gave out, the low ratio clutch has burnt. It is slipping, dropped its oil and needs an overhaul/replacement/repair. The van runs, but the box is dropping oil and running very hot and is therefore pretty unusable.
Obviously I am aware that Ford stuff is harder to find than Chevy/Mopar gear in Europe and the UK?
Does anyone have any ideas of places we might go for overhaul/rebuild? Also, we are likely to be towing with it, so are looking to upgrade to a heavy duty shift kit.
So far we have been quoted 1500 for a total rebuild and nearly 3 grand shipping from the US!!
I would appreciate any help here as we are going to be using this van for travel to some meetings and also as service for some bike racing we are planning in 2011.
We are based in Hertfordshire and appreciate that most people involved in stox are in the North!
have copied the post into van section of an american car club am in so maybe someone will know who can help with the repair,
can you link a email incase anyone needs to get in touch.
