  1.  a proper nice guy always had time for a chat got to know him in the early eighties when he was part of the 175 team

always had a laugh about jake bell 475 who drove the bus well over the speed limit coming home from bradford on

a friday night , he reckon they got into bromham before the local pub shut !

may you rest in peace mick

  2. hi

i would look at it from the saloon drivers point of view

racing at the f1 world final there families and crew pay

a fortune to get in . saloons for friday .just f1s on the saturday

unless the meeting is going to start early on the saturday and the

dutch saloons are coming over in big numbers as well ?

    regards graham

  3. I will be very surprised if there is a issue taking food/drink in

Trouble is there will always be some people try to push the buttons of the promoters and take the mick don't forget Rob will still have smile on his face like he did when racing

i went to the banger teams in june . guy 195 dean whitwell fan in front of me waiting to get in had a bag with 10 cans of vimto 2 pringles with 6 in his party was told outside it

was to much for personal consumption ! i asked said skegness worker do you think he was going to set up a stall selling them ? no reply . the guy with the stuff just said if

i cant take it in i will go home . no problem with getting in after that .

  4. £20 is a couple of quid more than a bog standard meeting and we have the F2 British plus the return of the F1 with a qualifier.

It’s 420 mile round trip for us so that’s about £60 quid in fuel, entrance, a couple of portions of fish and chips, programme and some teas and coffees will see us through the best part of £120 for the night before you take in wear and tear on the car etc. £2 a head makes no difference and in my opinion well worth the trip.

hi linky do you think the extra £2.00 is going to fund the f2 drivers ?

qualifier at lynn the other week was only £18.00

might not sound alot but why is it only one who has to charge more all the time

perhaps i must just be a poor person as i think it is far too much

and i run my car on white diesel from the pump

    regards graham

  5. £20.00 to get in . lets hope the track is not like a moto cross track and they can scrape enough shale round the outside to bring the fence into line.

last time i paid £20.00 their they cut loads of races out. i thought after the fans forum we working together ? not over pricing the product.

plenty of f2s but they dont get start money do they ? regards graham
