This is my shale car, a good, cheap, strong, beginners car to get you started in BriSCA F2. It is a mid nineties HCD chassis. Had a very quiet life before me using over the last 2 or 3 seasons, spent most of its life unused in a garage between its early years and a short stint with Paul Nixon ex-439, and then sold onto myself. A good winters service could have this car looking very smart again (respray, possibly a few new panels although certainly not neccasary I just choose to spend very little on appearance and spend it in more important areas! The car is mechanically well maintained and everything works as it should with no fundamental chassis or setup errors. The setup is currently very good and has had regular top 10s this year, (61 points from around 14 meetings) in fact only one nil which is due to me getting my thumb stuck in the steering wheel a few months ago! Last time out I placed 2nd in the Grand National at Coventry, here is video proof that this car can keep up with (and beat) most of the cars out on track:
It's easily capable of a win when set up correctly and have come close to one a few times this year! I have loads of spares for this car, including new front bumper and nerf rails, lots of spare suspension arms and more spare calipers and pads than you'd ever need! Anything I can find for the car that I don't need will go with it. It's a modern setup for it's age, coilovers all round, independent front suspension and panhard bar 5 link rear suspension with escort axle. The car comes 100% complete including exhaust, radiator, seat, belts, front to rear brake bias control, diff, wing, new custom made one off fuel tank (cost £100) and battery. It is only less engine gearbox and transponder. All this for just £650, the parts that are on the car combined or worth at least that! I can leave in the gearbox which is standard with a shortened selector shaft for £750. This is surely the cheapest car to get you on the exciting side of the fence, and is not a bad car by any means! It is pictured below during last winters rebuild. The car is still being raced, and can be seen next weekend at Stoke and Belle Vue. The trailer pictured below is also for sale, it is a converted caravan chassis. It has fully functioning suspension and brakes on all 4 wheels, good spare wheel and tyre, electrics board all working, tyre rack that fits 8 to 9 wheels depending on rim width, manual winch and a completely new hitch. Only minor point really is there is some rot on parts of the chassis underneath but is still structurally sound and solid, great steady tower . . . £100 PM me for more info or my contact number. Thanks, Kyle Taylor
