  5. Volvo 850 T5R Estate ****** fantastic car, does all the right things and I wish I had bought one years ago. It's on a N plate but still goes like the day it was new. Mind you, it had just come out of Tom Walkinshaw's trick department at Silverstone a week before I got my hands on it.
  6. Agree totally with you there about Dougie. It's a little known fact but I once came within a whisker of beating him back in our youth days. The difference was section 7. He made it over the last big rock at the exit flags, I didnt!! Oh yeah, we were 10 years old at the time. Don't even get me started on what happened at Junior Kickstart!!!!!!! Bit of a close decision between Everts and Joel Smets mind Adam. Have to throw Ricky Carmicheal into the frame as well. Totally unbeatable in the AMA Series, moto-x and supercross
  7. As a kid growing up it was Dave Thorpe (Motocross) and Bernie Schreiber (Trials) Something I've always wished I could see was Foggy up against Rossi in a season of WSB. Both on Ducati's.
  8. Nige - "I WILL find that 13mm bolt even if it takes me till March" Chris - " Listen Nige, if Gaz said he must have dropped ( ) it sprinting up from the pits then thats good enough for me. Just let it go man"

  14. Don't give up Steve! The meetings I went to at Derwent Park were fantastic. Admitedly, I only went for the tooz but you got the feeling in the place that it could become a mecca for Shale racing. Even the speedway guys were impressed with what we/you had to offer. Well, the ones I spoke to were anyway! If I'm honest (and dont shoot me here guys) I probably wouldnt do the drive over there for just an F1 fixture but if you could get both the 1's and 2's on the bill then it would be a definite for lots of people. Saying that, you would probably have to get permission from Tesco to use their car park for extra pit space!! How about trying to free up a weekender over there Steve? Let the Bangers and Saloon boys have a blast as well? Just a thought!
