  1. There will probably be a few drop out after Saturday as well. The Masters has lost its attraction for most fans and drivers. Time for a rethink next year promoters. Of the 50+ Dutch drivers booked on Friday about a dozen are racing at the masters....... £22 to get in. You decide?
  2. Agree with Stu, 55 and 21. Would love to see Lundy through though.
  3. Can't see many of the top ten starters going backwards and there are a few tar specialists lower down the grid so hopefully they will have to push their way through rather than it being a procession as many semi's are. Dowdy and James Morris will need tar cars to have any hope of qualifying so fingers crossed they can borrow/hire one as I would love to see these two guys on the grid in the big race.
  4. Some very fast tar drivers on the grid. Should be worth keeping an eye on Ryan Harrison from the back half of the grid. More than capable of a top 6 place and will be pushing hard. With good tar form this year 515 will surely be the man to beat. Hope Ted 555 keeps out of trouble and finishes top ten. It would be just reward for a great first season. 515 84 445 top 3 for me.
  5. I have noticed you doing the pre meeting updates this year Carl. It's really useful and I think a lot will appreciate you spending your time doing this. Something Brisca should have been doing for years..... Thanks
  6. I notice Ryan is booked in. Is he borrowing a car or has he been busy building one?
  7. Henry is a very talented driver and would be a great loss if he decided to hang his helmet up. Hopefully a few weeks away will rekindle his interest.
  8. A hand full of shale racers on the list which I didn't expect. The Jones brothers have dropped off but 84,150, 25, 446, 445, 45 and 2 now added. Fantastic list considering the distances involved and well done to all drivers for making a huge effort. Anyone know why 202 not booked. He must be one of the closest to Cowdie?
  9. Don't forget they are ex-saloon drivers so it is quite normal for them. Did about 6 meetings each up there in both 2014 and 2015.They will know the track well and should be right on the pace. Looking forward to the thud of the saloons bouncing of the wall. Used to go regularly years ago for the F2s when there were lots of travelling drivers from England.
  10. A good list and if all turnout it will be a great weekend. Hoping for a couple more .....4, 445, 53, 220, 202, 36, 259 Great effort by the Jones brothers. That's some distance! Cowdie is a great track for F1. I'm really looking forward to the whole weekend
  11. No problem with fold up chairs at Kings Lynn. There are seats if you don't want to take a chair in the stand on the home straight.
  12. Hope Sir John books in. It's the last shale QR and he is near the cut off for semi points. With 4 tar rounds after Belle Vue it may be his last chance to score decent points.
  13. A good list so far. A few regular names missing who will hopefully be added in the next few days.
  14. I hope broadsword has a few mates with extra tractors to mop up the damage.......
  15. I was beginning to think Lundy was only doing Kings Lynn.....great news!
  16. A few well known belle vue regulars still not on the list so hopefully we will make it to high 30s?
  17. But which pits are big enough for a low loader?Murray Harrison and Tony Smith transporters must be the size of low loaders and must tracks pits have no problem getting them in. In all seriousness, sounds quite a bit of damage and lost gear so hope Mick can repair it and get out racing in the not to distant future.
  18. Sworder not being able to find a truck to carry an F1....? Surely not.
  19. I believe the Tarmac shifter is having an overhaul. Probably not quite ready. Hope you're right Dan and he is out pretty soon.
  20. I was expecting Paul Ford to be out this weekend. Has he called it a day?
  21. Must be your local track George? 5 hours trip each way? Spot on. Fantastic turnouts at every meeting this year. The sport seems to be in rude health. Not far off mate , belle vue slightly closer , Sheffield takes circa 4 hours , Coventry with a stop is circa 5 hours for me , although i made it home on sunday morning from Cov in 4 and a half hours with nothing more than a quick toilet break Hat off to you and the numerous other Scottish formula 1 fans who travel so far to follow the sport. Long may it continue and hopefully we can generate similar enthusiasm from fans and drivers when we head north to Cowdie soon. I'm looking forward to a view of a different part of the A1 already.....
