  16. Heat Three Happenings: The start sees 408 send 8 and 22 wide into turn 3. 80 leads for a short time until 452 comes through. A quiet race from then on as the top 3 of 452, 408 and 368 run the remaining laps evenly spread out. The closing stages see the 452 rear tyres go off which causes him to slide through the turns. 408 takes the lead, with 368 driving into 452's nerf rail through turn 3 to gain 2nd place on the run to the flag.

Caution to reposition the tyre. 523 heads the restart. 67 leads next lap. 523 and 22 hook up in turn 2 creating mayhem in the ensuing smokescreen. 515 gets a flat right rear, and 408 is left with a damaged wing.
