  1. What brought his incredible career home to me was a post in the recent "Maximums" thread. During the 1977 season, there was a 14-day period which featured five meetings at five different tracks. Stuart won a maximum of heat, final and GN at ALL FIVE OF THEM. That is how good he was.
  2. Sorry to bump the thread up, but are the results from this meeting on Speedhive, or was there a problem? Just asking as they are needed for TV graphics, many thanks if anyone can advise.
  3. Even I'm going to this one! Race sensibly gentlemen (and ladies), and may the best driver win.
  4. In answer to the Ministox question - yes, drivers can race both. The only driver in recent years to have done so, I believe, was Courtney Finnikin. I always think of National Minis as more like Junior BriSCA F1 than Ministox to be honest - but they provide some of the best oval racing I have seen in my commentary career!
  5. You all endlessly complain about Hednesford meetings on here, but I bet you will all turn up and watch anyway just like you do to every other meeting you try and run into the ground before it happens...
  6. What is the starting grid procedure this year please? Is it still drivers who have done less than three meetings on a separate "grid" behind those who have done three or more?
  7. A request - can drivers who are swapping cars make sure that they make number changes nice and clear please? My commentary is always rubbish at this meeting anyway but I don't want to get even more mixed up than I usually do
  8. 366 is in a Newson hire car, he is a V8 regular as said above and has also done Rebels and Bangers.
  9. The Internations Cup/Bev Greenhalf Trophy was contested on the Grand National.
  10. I bet no one would complain about getting covered in dirt and dust at that one
  11. 43 moves up to 12th in GN result with the removal of 217.
  12. That wasn't intentional by the way - I just left a background CD running without paying much attention to what was on it!
  13. 11th and 12th in the GN were 48 and 259. (edit) sorry, just seen someone had already posted them. Apologies for forgetting to announce them!
