  1. A bit of a statto question... but can someone tell me if 303 Karl Whiteman is different from Michael? What I mean is, the number 303 was registered as Michael Whiteman until around June last year, then the results suddenly started saying Karl. Thanks.
  2. Hi Jordan. Yes, as Carl mentioned, the point I was going to make was the good old apostrophe. Plurals don't take apostrophes as I'm sure you know, i.e. points, cars, yellows etc, but the same applies to abbreviations too, which are still just normal plurals. So to pick out a few of yours, plus the other regular ones you see on this forum, the proper terms should be: DNFs, F1s, F2s, V8s, Minis, pics, videos, DVDs, CDs Hope this helps!
  3. Hi Jordan, nice work. Did you want grammatical feedback? There are a few things, but I know many people here think it's very pedantic, so I'll shut up unless you want to hear it! Cheers.
  4. Well said. Since when has F1s at Brafield ever been a nothing meeting? Very much looking forward to it
  5. There's still the GN. I suspect a few more fence posts will take early retirement!
  6. Nice of Mick Sworder and Todd Jones to give the demolition teams a headstart when they move in next month!
  7. Chris, yes the car park will be full at least an hour before start time, probably two hours. In terms of street parking, it's been a while since I did that. There is street parking around and being Sunday much of it is unregulated, The best bet used to be near the cemeteries on Blackshaw Rd, Wimbledon Rd, and Garratt Lane.
  8. I was at last month's sold out event, and thankfully it wasn't too bad, plenty of space to move about still and no problems with queues anywhere. Twelve cars is a bit of a downer, I had expected 25ish for this, but hey it is what it is. And the rest of the programme is two great formulas with very good booking numbers, so it should be a good one. Just hope the rain holds off so we get some speed out of the cars. I know most of you here are lamenting the demise of Coventry, but this is equally sad for me. Being a Londoner for 25 years, you get used the the tube as your primary means of transport. Imagine how great it is to be able to jump on the tube and go to a stock car meeting. I hadn't been to all that many Wimbledon events over the last 20 years, but since I knew the end was near, I've been making the most of them. Sunday evenings are pretty boring sometimes, and this has been a great option over the last couple of years. It basically means that for me, like many of you, the stock car season will end in autumn and start again in spring. It's going to be a real loss, and in truth I'm pretty angry about it. All this history and community gone just so a few already rich people can further line their pockets. And don't get me started on the hypocrisy of AFC Wimbledon...
  9. A few delays after a breakdown at rush hour, but should be all clear in an hour or so.
  10. Please can anyone confirm, does this definitely start at noon?
  11. Right, now the soggy nonsense at Coventry is out the way, let's all get to Brafield for a proper meeting!
  12. Thanks, yes I know you can, I'm just concerned about numbers and it selling out!
  13. Wow, that's impressive. Being disorganised, I've only just decided that I'm going. I will get in with cash on the gate, right? Was planning on turning up around 1pm.
  14. Is there a link between Mick Sworder and the Smiths? Isn't it Andy's job (and hobby) setting up Jessica's cars?
