  1. Hows the drainage at BV? Weather not looking very good between now and the finale!!
  2. If I'm right, the track maximum at Skeg is 32 - in which case I wouldn't be at all surprised if indeed the F1 numbers have already been capped at 56 (24-car semi + 32car heat). 10 from the final, 14 from the heat and perhaps 8 from the consolation to qualify for the meeting final maybe? With two other formulae on, i can't imagine there will be time for 2 heats from the 32 non-semi drivers. However, I have been wrong before and I will no doubt be wrong again in future
  3. Rob Speak's name on a booking list - something I never thought I would see again - cannot wait!!!
  4. Always enjoy the loons, no doubt they are great entertainment - like most folks on here, though, I don't see them often enough to have gained sufficient knowledge about the drivers, form, beefs etc to develop that occasional keen interest into a proper following. For me, the F1s will always be the main event...no disrespect to others intended.
  5. Doesn't matter how many, no, it's not why I asked the question - I'm just curious to see which of the WF semi drivers will be there to get their eye in. It's not in doubt that I'll be there - and will be there in 3 weeks' time too!
  6. Thanks very much for the results services, guys - and for your commentary too, Rod. I found it really great to have a different 'at-track' perspective - enhanced for me what is already a great service and certainly didn't detract. Cheers again, team!!
  7. I doubt he would take his place on shale. That's why Team Davidson always have two drivers, so at least one of them will do both surfaces. Luke definitely didn't take his place on the shale semi grid last year. I think he was booked in to race as I seem to recall and then withdrew close to the event.
  8. I'm not the first to start the speculation as to whether he might make a comeback for one race (maybe two races) only
  9. Don't disagree with what you're saying here, fella - however, 217/318/197/196 Skeg Tarmac form is fairly impressive and I think there remains a chance he might better fancy his chances in shale. Time will tell, I guess! Anyone know when Nigel has to make his decision?
  10. Be interesting to see which surface Nigel goes for but I think there's every chance your wish might be granted! That said, will Nige risk going to Skeg and potentially having Speaky a couple of rows behind him????? I would LOVE to see that - in the refurbed/new engined 84 car - which of course used to be his anyway!!!! C'mon Rob, make it happen!!!!
  11. There's 41 other drivers on that list capable of that. Indeed, Franny - although few that have demonstrated it with the same frequency/intensity this year!
  12. Great to see that common sense prevailed at this week's hearing and TH#84 has been reinstated to the racing fraternity. GREAT! Now time for him to settle another brakes issue/Sheffield score with FWJ!!!
