Also if using this road A18 through Great Limber which is before the road closure, take very special care. There are signs that say " uneven road" but it is more than that, - the tarmac has lifted both at the kerbside and in the middle of the road by up to about 8inches in several places, If a wheel either hits a bump or goes into a hollow I would expect that to be the end of your weekend before it starts! Take care.
In defence of Kings Lynn, I had just inadvertently purchased our advanced tickets for the semi twice, - senior moment no doubt! I contacted them yesterday by e mail and they were very helpful and refunded the money for one set of tickets straight away without any quibble. Great service by any standard.
HEAVY METAL ACTION ASSURED AS THE BSCDA BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIP COMES TO SHEFFIELD.
------ Can he win an unprecedented ninth title? Few would bet against it. The British has only been run twice at Owlerton Stadium, in 2004 and 2005, and Wainman Jnr won both times.
The second win came after a massive first-bend pile-up that wiped out the front row line-up of Andrew Smith and John Lund, in a race that created a huge amount of damage.
Has anyone got a link to either a photo, or video of the pile up in 2005? I am not sure but was it an iconic photo of a "literal pile up"?
