  1. Just wanted to add my thoughts on tonight’s meeting: Sat in the grandstand - was very wet from Heat 2 onwards and decided to head down to the cover by the home straight bar for the Final & GN. Heat 1 - Yellows tops had a great all round battle in this (31 & 231 impressive first time out). This left 83 & 339 to pull clear - unfortunate for 83 to fail weight at the scales. Missed the roll by 13 on back straight, but looked a big one. All ok. Heat 2 - strange Heat. 1 was spun around halfway with 55 & 515 battling for position most of the way, with 55 coming out on top but did delay both. 150 was quick, but 259 caught and passed not far from the end. 502 got a deserved win with 339 in the mix once again. Heat 3 - getting wet by this point. Bit of a procession early on, except for #1 who stormed away from the rest of the field. 16 got 541 and was almost half a lap behind. Final - very wet now. The early laps just felt like no movement was being made by any driver and 339 looked to be on for his first Final win. Yellow/red flag came out late on for 555 to take the lead with 1 behind - 1 went for the last bender and as they were both about to dash for the flag, red flag deployed for a fire coming from the stationery 326 car. Green and 1 on the restart. 555 pulled away from 1, who had a bad restart and let 515 past. 555 was gone & home as 1 nailed 515 on the last bend, for them to both be in trouble. 515 survived coming 2nd with 34 & 150 both coming past 1 metres from the line - an incredible end to a fantastic Final. Grand National - 555 a lap down and made up an incredible amount of ground throughout. Yf part way through with 326 leading from 1. 1 passed at T2, but didn’t pull away with 326 returning the favour at T3 to retake the lead. 515 entered the fray and did lead at one point, with 326 nailing 515 hard at T1 (maybe a bit of help from 1 behind, not sure) as 1 undercut and pulled away for the win. 555 stayed out of trouble and gained double points in 4th.

  8. I'll be doing virtual Semi Finals and a virtual Shootout aswell. The last WCQR would have been Lochgelly, so both Semi Final grids have been completed - 515 finished top and I imagine him picking Skegness over Sheffield 10 times out of 10. #1 will be on pole at Sheffield. The grids will be released on 15th July. There are 4 meetings remaining before the Shootout Cut Off - the top 8 are in, so there are 4 places left up for grabs: (Shootout will comprise off 4 shale and 4 tar rounds due to Birmingham being removed and lack of data for Bristol) 9. 259 Paul Hines - 217 10. 464 Luke Davidson - 194 11. 555 Frankie Wainman Jnr Jnr - 191 12. 220 Will Hunter - 186 13. 2 Paul Harrison - 177 14. 25 Brad Harrison - 175 15. 150 Mick Sworder - 139 16. 166 Bobby Griffin - 139
  9. Basically, the total amount of points a driver has scored at a certain track since the beginning of 2016 is then divided by the amount of meetings there have been at said track in the same period to give a track average. This was the fairest way to do it as it gives a meeting average for each driver - as if all drivers attended every meeting, which is obviously unrealistic but for the purposes of a virtual season, its the only way to do it fairly. So to answer your question, it is based on previous performance. The only track that is slightly different is Northampton, as I've taken results from since it has been shale in 2018 rather than the beginning of 2016 - giving tar only drivers points for Northampton in this didn't seem to make sense. Obviously, there is no data for Knockhill or Bristol and Birmingham was removed from the calendar just before lockdown so none of those meetings are included in this. But the Belle Vue meetings are included. Some drivers are lower down the order due to only having raced a year or two - 5, 20, 346 come to mind - and other drivers aren't on there at all due to inactivity/retirement - 318 & 390 for example. There are some drivers on the list of 150 who last raced in 2018 - 207 & 408 to name two - as I couldn't make a list of 150 purely using drivers from 2019.
  10. TOP 20 at 28/6 (after Lochgelly - Final WCQR) 1. 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr - 571pts 2. 16 Mat Newson - 491 3. 1 Tom Harris - 425 4. 212 Danny Wainman - 390 5. 217 Lee Fairhurst - 339 6. 445 Nigel Green - 329 7. 4 Dan Johnson - 284 8. 55 Craig Finnikin - 243 9. 259 Paul Hines - 217 10. 464 Luke Davidson - 194 11. 555 Frankie Wainman Jnr Jnr - 191 12. 220 Will Hunter - 186 13. 2 Paul Harrison - 177 14. 25 Brad Harrison - 175 15. 150 Mick Sworder - 139 16. 166 Bobby Griffin - 139 17. 37 Chris Cowley - 123 18. 175 Karl Hawkins - 120 19. 197 Ryan Harrison - 120 20. 335 Mark Woodhull - 119
  11. Straight away, this is not affiliated with BriSCA F1 or the BSCDA - with the enormous help of Stoxnet’s own Carl Hesketh, I’ve taken averages of 150 current F1 drivers from 2016 to 2019 to predict how the 2020 season would go. If anyone follows me on Twitter, you will have seen I have been doing this since meeting #1 at King’s Lynn in March. Here is how the Top 20 currently stand below after Grading Period 3 - no data available for Knockhill (or Bristol for that matter) so these are the current standings before, what would have been, Cowdenbeath & Lochgelly this weekend. If anyone would like any other drivers current position, please contact me by PM on here to save clogging up this thread. TOP 20 (after Ipswich - end of Grading Period 3) 1. 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr - 524pts 2. 16 Mat Newson - 439 3. 212 Danny Wainman - 358 4. 1 Tom Harris - 344 5. 445 Nigel Green - 325 6. 217 Lee Fairhurst - 289 7. 4 Dan Johnson - 284 8. 55 Craig Finnikin - 243 9. 259 Paul Hines - 209 10. 555 Frankie Wainman Jnr Jnr - 167 11. 220 Will Hunter - 167 12. 2 Paul Harrison - 147 13. 464 Luke Davidson - 141 14. 166 Bobby Griffin - 139 15. 25 Brad Harrison - 133 16. 197 Ryan Harrison - 120 17. 335 Mark Woodhull - 119 18. 463 James Morris - 115 19. 175 Karl Hawkins - 108 20. 21 Mark Gilbank - 106 Selected others: 21. 37 Chris Cowley - 100 23. 150 Mick Sworder - 95 25. 169 Billy Johnson - 81 26. 346 Ashley England - 79 29. 11 Neil Scriven - 67 30. 326 Mark Sargent - 66 35. 45 Nigel Harrhy - 55 38. 211 Phoebe Wainman - 47 47. 5 Charlie Sworder - 38 52. 53 John Lund - 32 64. 526 Finn Sargent - 26 73. 345 Jake Harrhy - 21 84. 137 Sam Jacklin - 13 88. 24 Mark Adkins - 10 90. 495 Richard Howarth - 8
  12. The 'Tribute to Stoke' is the F1 GN - being billed as this as it is the last ever race at Stoke.
  13. Latest newsletter states that the F1s are capped at 60 cars this weekend - understandable with how busy the weekend with be for Speak's team and the amount of different formulas that are on. 120 Casey Englestone ran in his refurbed Newson car at Swaffham Saturday just gone - in prep for this coming weekend I would assume. Also read something on Facebook of H318 Rick Lenssen coming over for the weekend - maybe Hary or Rouke could confirm this?
  14. 32 cars now, 3 additions and 1 withdrawal from the list above: 313 Karl Roberts 337 Dave Willis 463 James Morris are the additions 4 Dan Johnson has withdrawn.
  15. Aren't these rounds 4 and 5 with Sheffield being round 3 ? Well spotted! Knew I'd get at least one thing wrong!
