  1. Enjoy it boys and Girls. The new social gathering regulations might not be good news for too many more meetings.
  2. Excellent post Carl, even if you were 'Nairning' for Britain One day I might get round to an 'adventures of a web poster/site owner' post. What tales I could tell..... To think now, some nights Jane was updating news and results for F1's on Stoxnet and Allstox, as well as tooz, loons and V8's on Allstox. Think her record was five meetings in one night, shouting at her phone as text after text came in 'Hold on people, I cant keep up' My first ever post on a bulletin board, was just after Michael started the first one. It was about the importance of scoreboards to new spectators as an aid to understanding what was going on. Oh well, never mind. oh and for the vast majority of you... POSTING OFFENCES Nairning...visiting the same post over and over again
  3. Ian G has hit nail on head. Should really rescind that GP letter requirement now. Draconian spectator rules, with 381 unlimited bangers racing the same days, could drive some contact fans towards Suffolk instead. There are too many other draws on folks money these days, to alienate cliental by making them feel financially maximised, rather than going home feeling valued. It could be worse, Sunday of Ipswich Spedeweekend. £35 (on the gate) + £2 parking, for 10 races (plus a Ninja cart race) !!
  4. 38 booked in on their website so far 12 white, 15 yellow, 5 blue, 5 red, 1 s/s
  5. I hear you can add another one to the booking list. Somewhere between Fortune and Hawkins ;-)
  6. This thread -v- forum with Rees, Wood & Flan and its objective, show's that the effort by those 3, would in no way be representative of all promoters, and therefore ineffective. The interaction here shows the sport in a very negative way. Had a few people saying I should throw my hat in the ring for the forum due to things I've done previously. One of the things I would have forwarded as an idea, was each promoter to appoint a local die hard fan of oval racing, active in social media, as a representative partner to keep fellow fans up to date, and work locally to promote their local track. Get the fans pulling for what they love, to positively forward the sport, and promote other like minded fans to do the same. The overall negativity here and elsewhere, makes me doubt that this idea, and any initiative would work. Glad I kept my hat on my head.
  7. For pizzabet purposes, did anyone get the full f2 result please ?
  8. Think the chances of anyone 'just appearing' on the list is slim seeing as though they have capped the numbers at 66 for F1. Shame its capped at all me thinks.
