  1. Steve Hattersley's 69 shale car and coach are for sale. For details on eBay go to these links Stockcar Transporter
  2. Not sure if the buyer wants to be named just yet. Sorry.
  3. further photos here: Team 69 Webpage
  4. I'm going to Kings Kynn from north Sheffield, only me in the car so far.
  5. I'd say it was miles off topic and destined for Room 101, but before the nasty men with passwords catch you, have a butchers at this
  6. Please take note of this: From the Pennines and the north: 1/ The A6102 South Yorkshire - this is the road from Stocksbridge to Hillsborough. It is closed both ways at the Stockarth Lane junction in Sheffield, because of subsidence when the river Don washed away half the road. There is a diversion but it is totally unsuitable for HGV's or towed vehicles. Anyone coming over the Woodhead, carry on the A616 until the junction with the A61, avoid A6102 like the plague. Don't even think about it. It will be the same until at leat December 2/ The A61 has two sets of traffic lights between J36, the first one between the M1 and A616 (Woodhead/Stocksbridge bypass) and the second one 2 miles further on in the woods between High Green and Grenoside. This is a pain but should not be more than 10 minutes inconvenience on Sunday. This is also due to the recent floods washing the roads away and causing a retaining wall to burst. ****This is the best option.**** 3/ Anyone going via Ecclesfield after leaving the M1 at J35 will hit 3 sets of lights in the village. Diversions are good but not for HGV's or buses. Use J33 from the south or J36 from the north. For anyone coming from the south: The usual M1 - J33, Sheffield Parkway - city centre - A61N will be the best option. I hope this is clear.
  7. It belted down at 5pm, but it is quite windy. Saturday will be drizzly and Sunday will be clear and sunny with a good breeze. This all points to a perfect track. The last time we had these conditions, the track was brilliant from the inside to the fence and it never needed watering once the whole meeting. Gordon Moodie drove on the outside line to get more drive, this was then copied by FWJ in the F1's in the next heat.
  8. Steve, under what age are you a child at Sheffield for the semi? I'm starting my bombardment of Sheffield forums and websites and I'm sure parents will need to know this. Thanks Mick
  9. So it wasn't you I saw at the last Coventry then.......
  10. Hi Mr Bump You know me, fished with Ecclesfield Stocks with Dave Speight (Sheff Amalg/La Plata). Me and my better half go to car boots in the summer and I've seen a few of these around. Might be too late for your requirements but...... Mick
