  1. Yes, used to be one on the other side. Actually a better set up now with Covid.
  2. Three f2 races have been added to the program. Presumably to give the F1's more time between races.
  3. Oi! Don't suggest moving the F2 Wos for mud. Mud is good I rather think the F1s are prime reason for postponement. It's them, and understandably, who worry about loss of control. I do worry it might put some F1's off Northampton though.
  4. According to Dave Coventry on his F/B, and backed up by someone who was helping. They have been trying all week to sort the track, with rain much of the time. There was to have been practice tonight, which they cancelled because of track conditions. They left it late as people have and still are coming from Holland. But regretfully have had to cancel due to the track state. It also mentions a possible reschedule. I'm as upset as anyone, spent all day sorting out and lost a Travelodge, but I'm not for blaming a promotor, they lose more than us.
  5. Grand National and World of Shale mentioned above are F2 races.
  6. Confirmed Mildenhall F/B. Mildenhall cancelled, some dutch are there already it seems. Northampton is on..
  7. It often doesn't, But maybe that's opening early as it's the last time!
  8. Poor crowd for F2 happens often, but numbers of cars are good. F1 brings a better crowd, but much more expense and often much lower car numbers What do you intend to fill the space between the F1 heats with, Tom Mellor Ford car displays? The two's racing last night was top class, we never finished a race!
  9. Thanks for that. I couldn't go. ill Saturday. He obviously didn't miss me at all!
  10. Yes that's how the F2's work. We were drawn 14th last time I think, and finished a little higher.
  11. Right Ozzy. Belle Vue, you've never been upstairs, Someone mentioned on here last week about the atmosphere in there, they'd never been in before either. Also Wainman hill, whats wrong with that? I love Stoke myself, park your car and watch, good pits viewing, decent track. Grandstand/Bar is old, but still functions. Sheffield. If you had last weeks Belle Vue program you would know that removing the back straight unused terrace, and leveling it for pits is under ongoing discussion. I think making NIR shale was a masterstroke, but must admit to having a slight ulterior motive.
  12. Ozzy. Can you expand on the poor viewing. You've lost me there. Bomb site could be one of two I suppose, not a lot the promoter can do. Any thoughts on Mildenhall and Sheffield? Aycliffe used to be low on facilities and cars, but high on esteem. Best get back to Brafield tomorrow, it might change your mind. Edit, try getting along the A17 behind a real Tractor lol, not always an easy drive.
  13. Certainly did race as Red top. http://f1stockcars.com/around-the-pits/flashback-friday-brisca-f1-stockcars-through-the-ages-part-7/
