Harsh?..maybe so but the travel and personal irresponsibility it promoted means there is a price to pay. The second wave has its origins in the "eat out to help out " promotion and the schools reopening..whilst the Uni's have the virus it is easier to control(my nephew has been under lockdown in a guarded campus since day one) and he will only be released home after a negative test.How can you blame one section of society whilst ignoring the proven science that shows the only way to control this is to stop people mixing across the ages in a social setting?

Reality check time...2 thousand people died this week,4 thousand will die next week,16 thousand the week after and so on..even if we start lockdown tomorrow 20 thousand people will die before the numbers stabilise...what started off as a good idea for the NHS series has been proven to have turned into a burden...pull the plug now and be done with it.. Stock car racing might have "saved" your life but it has almost certainly cost a lot of other people their's....

And the reason the regional policy isn't working?.....answers on a postcard please. Studying the figures Linky it is not a possibility,it is a definite...once ICU/ventilator places are full your chance of surviving the virus falls off a cliff..1 in 6 deaths at the moment . Sorry but the answer is in our hands.

Am I the only one who thinks the NHS would be better served by not encouraging people to travel across the country during a pandemic that ,at the moment,is doubling both in cases and hospital admissions every 10 to 14 days?....if I am ,crack on and enjoy,if not at least have a think about it....Thank you.

I seem to remember that the Arlington pit access charge went to FORDS,the injured driver fund....don't know if that's still the case though.
