Typical tactical, boring to watch Semi Final. Happily, the real action kicked in when the Consi combatants took to the track, W/Y had been a decent opener & H410 showed his intent to win my vote with the 1st of 4 cracking drives.

Excellent racing on a superb track. Bumpy in parts, but doesn`t that sort out the proverbial "men from the boys" - and still folks moaned....

Let`s all support Deane Wood. He`s brought us a much needed shale track, and has clearly worked hard to get it right. That`s something he will continue to do.

In all honesty, every driver who took to the track on Sunday deserves the accolade. It was great fun watching H36, the enigmatic Wendy Koopmans, who proved that she does indeed "have the bumper".

The great British weather did what it does best and wrecked all promises of a fantastic weekend of racing. Deane did his best to make the mud bath into a raceable track (on his own for most of the morning). Why people chose to forget that he`s inexperienced in preparing Shale tracks, and decided to criticise rather than encourage just shows that being negative is easier than looking for and finding positives in situations. But then, they have also chosen to forget that the last World Final at Coventry was held in worse conditions on a track prepared by somebody deemed an "expert"!
