Mat really went well on his local track. Kept at it all night. Honourable mention to Will Yarrow too, who was unlucky to get tangled up in the Final when well placed. At worst, he would`ve ended the night with an 8th place treble but for that.

Lone Groover, I know what you mean about shale dust reaching parts that even a certain beer can`t!!!!

Excellent meeting from Flag to Flag! Saturday night was harder than I expected, but there was still a wee bit of holding back for the big one on Sunday - understandably. Come Sunday and that reserve was no longer there, and didn`t we get a treat?

Nigel Green would probably have been very happy to have taken 3rd in the Final, but he would probably agree that his UK Open title was earned by being in the right place at the right time! A win`s a win however you get it, so fair play & well done.

Heard some harsh critics voicing their opinion about one of the Marshalls. Remember: A) Without Marshalls we couldn`t watch racing of any kind. B) Those guys & gals have to train, which means they can`t make independent decisions. That Marshall is at that stage.

I don`t know of any job where some form of training ISN`T required.

The Stadium development continues. Big congratulations to the Promoter. Big smack on the head to the idiot(s) who decided to "flood" the new Gents loos. Never mind getting a brain - get a life!

Huge Congratulations to Richard & Helen on their induction to the Hall of Fame. Well deserved
