  1. I knew Rodger from when I ran the modstox website, a really nice guy who showed alot of interest in our formula even though it was virtually unknown at the time. Very sad news, condolences to all his family
  2. It still seems odd that she says the signs are years old and not applicable, and yet the press release says exactly the same as the signs. Again it is the tone and super specific wording that seems to be causing the issue, as well as the gp letter which again was written in the press release? I'm sure a sign saying 'small amounts of food allowed, no alcohol or glass bottles' would of kept everyone happy fans and promoter? As for the cinema thing its not really the same, most circuits, theme parks, zoos etc where you spend 5 or 6 hours there you can take a bag of food in which is a closer example I'd say. Oops accidentally wrote an essay!
  3. I think it's badly worded with the wrong tone, threats always get peoples backs up instead of getting them on board. No large quantities of food followed by a sandwich and piece of fruit allowed is far too specific in my opinion. As for everything else being available I must of missed the salads, pasta, baguettes, vegan options around the raceway! I'm sure circuits such as donnington where you spend 5 or 6 hours usually let you take your own food? I think a notice to say small quantities of food, but nothing excessive, cool boxes, alcohol would of been much better received and not lost Skegness any money either! For me unless you can offer more than burger and chips you cant expect to ban all food going in
  4. He had to drop a Northampton to be allowed to give us this one, a real shame that something can't be sorted about allowing him a couple of Coventrys dates
  5. Will be my first f1 kings Lynn this year, can't wait!
  6. Agreed almost everyone loves watching the minis, many as much as the F1s!! It is annoying that they are considered pre meeting, has caught me out a few times.
  7. What happens if one of the qualifiers from the consolation semi wins? As they are not on the list
  8. With so much downtime before the meeting starts I still find it hard to believe you only get a couple of single hot laps to determine your grid place when travelling from the other side of the world or the Dutch drivers too. No chance to get into a rhythm, think it should be 3 sets of 3 hot laps and would fill abit of empty track time too. Do enjoy the Friday meetings but can understand why they can't have one at Ipswich
  9. I wish they would fill some of the down time they have every year by giving the overseas time trials a few extra laps, seems daft to travel all the way from nz to be given a few laps practice and 2 hot laps. Even 3 sets of 3 hot laps would be better and let them get abit of rhythm.
  10. Just out of interest with only 23 cars starting the big race, are reserves not allowed to be put in to replace qualifiers who drop out or was there only 23 cars left running in total?
  11. I'm advertising this for someone who isn't on Stoxnet so please direct all questions to them via the contact number, thanks Transit twin wheel rear axle, year 1998-2000 can be delivered to the Buxton Meeting, £120 http://v57i.imgup.net/IMG-2016043abd.jpg Call, 07841 919336 for any enquiries
