On the 3rd November there is a drifting event and it will be the first chance for public to see Buxton Raceway under lights, it is expected that the lighting system will be use at the 4th November meeting as well as the racing draws to a close for the final time this season.
The track has invested in a quantity of brand new LED light units, as you can see in the pic things are looking very impressive already with still quite a few left to fit.
The lights will be added to in number and in 2019, it is hoped to run the occasional evening meeting and of course the BriSCA F2 World Final will be an evening meeting on 7th September.
stockcar websites, they used to be all the rage but I think the only one left now is f1stockcars.com which is a relative newcomer even though its a few years old now
for reasons I cant quite think of, I stumbled upon Rogers Oval Racing pages the other day, to find that Roger [whoever he is - are you on here?] closed it at the start of 2018, its done some years that has, and covered lots of classes, and its style and format never changed, I remember it as far back as 1999.
Rolling Start still exists but is well out of date, and all the others fell by the wayside years ago.
I suppose the modern day method are the many facebook pages that cover the sport, I only look at one of those regular as I get most of the info I need from here, I am still using a computer [I do have a smartphone, and a tablet, but I prefer a proper piece of equipment at home], I bet there arent many computer users on here any more.
So, what do you use to get your stockcar info - smartphone / tablet / pc / laptop
what website or groups/social media do you use? [or did use]
