"but can anyone explain why over 70 book for Coventry regularly and Belle Vue hardly ever gets 40? is it the fence or the 5hr 5 race format ?" - no it is Just Coventry - "The place to race"

Hi Just to clear things up-is it the DARTFORD tunnel/bridge crossing we are talking of here ?
-
Hi Pete Just a bit of further info- the engine is a "bone stock" unraced 454 (unless you count heritage demo's) out of a pickup truck with a" 2 bolt main" crank - and the gearbox is actually a ZF four speed Hope this helps Cheers Wayne
-
Hi Steve Derek Fairhurst used to know of a supply of LD rear bearings - worth a call - contact Suzzanne on here maybe Cheers Wayne

Went along with Rob 258 on Saturday- I had'nt been to "slotstox" since 1970's ! had a most enjoyable evening -a great social event and the racing as competitive as the" real thing" - Thanks to all involved on putting on such a well run event - I would recommend anyone to "go have a look" - but beware it is VERY addictive

LD axles sought for F1(senior) Heritage project
300six replied to 300six's topic in For Sale & Wanted
Thanks for that Wayne -
Now I know I am possibly asking for the Holly Grail But if there is anyone that can help us find both front and rear axles from an LD (or even just a rear one would help) To move our 1960's heritage project on - we have the chassis ,the bodyshell and an engine -just need to get it rolling Anything considered - can collect from anywhere Please PM me with any details Thanks Wayne
