Hi Calamity507. Not sure if I remember it or not...it was a damn long time ago and I'm sure I remember some things that never actually happened!. Darren wouldn't actually know me if it was him that used to chat with Mr and Mrs Esau, I was in my early teens and the guy im thinking of was late teens early twenties so wouldn't taken any notice of me. Anyway if you find anymore photo's please let me know as there seems to be very few about.

Thanks for the Pics Guys Darren.. its possible we've met. I used to be taken to the meetings by Jims brother Len and watched the races with Jims Mum and Dad and other brother Roy. I remember they were often joined by another family who I was told looked after Jims fan club. That was mostly at Harringay though I did go up to a couple of coventry and brafield meets. When Jim gave up driving I still went upto Harringay occasionally until one evening I battled my way across London 2hrs+ on public transport only to find the F1's didn't turn up . Thats when and why I stopped going. Seems like nothing changes even after 30 years. Anyway thanks for the photos.

Wow...Never saw the first car ...Jim was Red top when I first went to harringey. The second shot was what I rember. Brilliant. Thanks.

Didn't have a camera when I used to go and watch him race. Scoured the internet for even a glimpse of his car in a race but save a couple of shots - nothing.
