After the first corner of the first lap of the first race it was really all over for team gb, as well as for many kiwis, just a big pile up From then on even if you  fluke a win you're never going to be champ. A great night of good clean flag racing.

I was following Wayne Hemi 591p who was absolutely flying all weekend - he was my tip to challenge for the honours, think he'd had an 8th and was 2nd in race 2 going into the final turn - that was until a coming together with our very own 197, which pretty much devastated the 591 car.

The Harrison hit on Hemi, was a cracking hit. I was watching on the exit of turn 2 and he took him hard. He's making a bit of a name for himself over here is Ryan. Good lad!
Wishing I was back in NZ!

He certainly is, I was asked by one of the NZ drivers if Ryan is normally an aggressive driver back home, through gritted teeth I replied "No - he normally stays well out of controversy"!
